4711 Acqua Colonia
Golden sunlight ripples through citrus groves as the air hums with warmth. Blood Orange & Basil captures that juicy brightness—sweet, slightly tart, and touched with green spice that feels both playful and serene.
It opens with sunlit orange and zesty peel, lifted by aromatic basil and gentle woods. Crafted for summer and late spring, it’s an instant mood-lifter, perfect for mornings that begin with optimism and open skies.

This is a unique brand with an interesting history of formation. In 1709, in Cologne, an Italian named Giovanni Maria Farina first mixed alcohol and citrus oils, creating the first cologne, which was called “Kölnisch Wasser” (Cologne Water). The cologne became very popular and was primarily used for hygienic purposes. Thanks to the French, Kölnisch Wasser became known as Eau de Cologne.
The number 4711 appeared on the bottle after French soldiers invaded the Cologne area. At that time, there were no house numbers in the city — only signs. So it was decided to number the buildings, and Farina’s perfume shop received the number 4711.
Over the centuries, the brand expanded its range and now produces not only the Original Cologne but also other fragrances. Traditionally, they are still referred to as colognes. In terms of quality and composition, 4711 colognes are on par with eau de parfums, and the Acqua Colonia Intense line even surpasses them in aromatic concentration. Renowned perfumers, inspired by unique places on our Earth, were involved in creating the compositions.
ACQUA COLONIA by the perfume house 4711 is a series of extraordinary cologne compositions.
