Encens Kapnos unfolds as a smoky, leathery fragrance with a contrasting fruity-green opening. Red fruits bring restrained sweetness, while green notes add freshness and a slightly sharp edge, keeping the opening clear and defined.

Frankincense takes centre stage in the heart, accompanied by leather and woody notes that lend dryness and depth. It continues into the base, where musk and sweet notes soften the darker resinous and leathery facets while preserving their intensity.

Created by perfumer Eric Gigodot and launched in 2020, Encens Kapnos belongs to Maison Incens’ Divinatory Waters collection. The Eau de Parfum explores the different facets of incense, bringing together fresh green accents, woods, leather, musk and subtle sweetness.

As it develops, the fragrance becomes warmer and more resinous, with incense linking the fruity-green opening to the deeper woody-musky base. Leather gives the composition definition, while the sweet accord rounds its edges and sustains its lasting smoky character.
